LADIDA ~ A blend of barrel aged golden sour ale aged for 47 months and 42 month barrel aged of spontaneous golden sour ale refermented with Satsuma Plum, Blueberry, and English lavender.
Taste and aroma are mix of plum, blueberry and honey, followed by a finish of lavender. Acidity is medium.
*Ladida, my Victorian slang dictionary defines it as elegant leisure and liberal expenditure. Elegant leisure seems like an appropriate description for this one.
One barrel was mixed culture golden sour ale brewed back in 12/2019 and aged in the barrel for47 months. Another barrel was a spontaneous fermentation golden sour ale, brewed back in 02/2020 and aged for 47 months. Home grown Satsuma Plum and blueberries were added and let we let the fruits fermented in the beer. After the second fermentation is done, the organic English lavender buds was until the desired aroma/flavor was achieved.
