Description
4th Anniversary beer.
A blend of barrel aged golden sour ale brewed back in 2016. In late May 2019 we added Bing, Brooks and Coral Champagne sweet cherries. At fruit ratio 8lbs/gallon, beer and whole fruit with pits spent over 14 months mingling. Before packaging in September 2020 we gave it a hefty dose of Tahitian vanilla grown in Bali, Indonesia.
The beer is much like a sparkling sour cherry wine with loads of fruit, a hint of tobacco leaves aroma, followed by holiday dessert spices (clove/cinnamon) and aromatic woods (cedar/ sandalwood) in the finish. A fruity vanilla aroma throughout. Acidity is medium. 7.5% alcohol/vol.
